Kanarifant was born in the summer of 2007. Aleksander and Matilde needed something to keep them busy, because of the bad weather. And they where inspired to do something new.
Kanarifant is a project that wants to stand out. They produce colorfull and unique products, and everything is handmade down to the last detail. The products are made in very limited quantities.
Aleksander enjoys drinking espresso, mood lighting and jazz clubs in Prague. Owns ten computers (smartphone included) and twelve gaming consoles. Likes to stroll around in his bright orange raincoat, which makes him look like a construction worker.
Matilde enjoys looking at maps, cartoons about Moomin, peppermint flavored tea and making angels in the snow. She owns a light blue awfull hat (which Aleksander hates) and a sewing machine. It has no name. Also makes the world's best pancakes.
Both Aleksander and Matilde are left handed, has been to Sweden and enjoys going on treasure hunts together in thrift shops and flea markets.
The Kanarifant website started out in Norwegian only, but has now been translated and is ready to take on the world. Hopefully the new website is easier to use, with automated systems and better navigation.
